In honor of Earth Day's 50th anniversary, Chadron's chapter of Citizens' Climate Lobby, a nonpartisan, volunteer organization, is encouraging everyone to gather online. They are sponsoring “Uniting from Home” on Sat. 4/25, 11 am MDT (12 CDT/1pm EDT) for the incredibly inspiring keynote speaker, Dr. Katharine Hayhoe: a climate scientist, evangelical Christian, and host of the podcast “Global Weirding”. Afternoon optional sessions include climate advocacy training, how to organize during the pandemic, and how to talk about climate in a depolarizing way.
