Second Semester Begins

Happy New Year!  I hope that everyone had a great break and found some time to relax with family and friends.

Here are just a few quick information items for students and parents:

• Chadron Middle School report cards will be sent home with students on Wednesday, January 9th.  Parents can check their student's final grades on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on Friday afternoon.
• The only early dismissal during the month of January is on the 18th.  It is a 12:00 dismissal for the Chadron High School Wrestling Invite, which will take place at the Nelson Physical Activity Center.  CMS will run Friday School on the 18th from 12:00-2:30.
• Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled on February 6th from 2:00-4:00 and then from 5:00-8:00 in the CMS gym.  We have built in an hour-long break from 4:00-5:00 so that teachers can grab some dinner.  Chadron Middle School will dismiss school at 1:30 on that day.  The change in schedule is to help relieve some of the congestion that we experienced during the fall parent-teacher conferences.  

We are excited to have all of our students back at school and we are looking forward to an excellent 2nd semester!
