From Ginger Meyer, Superintendent
Greetings Chadron Public Schools Parents, Patrons, and Students:
We are excited to share some great news: CPS will have a summer lunch program through the end of June. All students up to 18 years of age, regardless of economic status, will receive free meals at Chadron Public Schools. Meals will include both breakfast and lunch served through our school food program. The Child must be present to get a "Grab and Go Lunch." With summer work going on, there will not be an eating area set up. Meals will include a hot lunch and a breakfast for the next day.
Meals will be served from the high school kitchen from 11:30 to 12:15. Students may enter at the front door. Once again the child must be present to receive meals.
Chadron Public Schools hopes that this news comes as a pleasant surprise and helps each family during these unprecedented times.
