Refugees Speak to 7th Grade Social Studies Classes

Miss. Correll & Mrs. Kaus had 5 refugees speak to the 7th grade Civics class.  The refugees shared why they had to leave their home countries and why they could not return to their native lands.  They spoke about the naturalization process to become citizens of the U.S..  They also discussed the differences between their culture and countries and America.  The refugees are from Sudan, Burma, Thailand and Mexico.
